A commissioned Popixel Series project — custom bar stools for a newly renovated kitchen in a New York City apartment. The matching stools needed to fit into a niche under the kitchen island. To appear integrated and consistent with the room’s architecture, the stools are skinned in the same Corian material used on the countertops and throughout the apartment, while the slats encasing each stool reference the horizontality of the kitchen’s surfaces.
